Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Jammu-Katra
Pickup from Jammu railway station, transfer to Katra for the night in your hotel.
Day 2: Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan
In the early morning ready for your trek to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine, a long walk of 12 kilometers. After the long trek, you feel relax when you finally have a darshan of Mataji and then return to Katra.
Day 3: Visit to Patnitop
After breakfast then move to Patnitop, explore nearby attraction and night stay.
Day 4: Patnitop to Srinagar
After breakfast start drive to Srinagar approx 200 kilometers, night stay in a houseboat or a hotel.
Day 5: Srinagar Sightseeing
After breakfast explore Srinagar local sightseeing, visit Mughal Gardens, Shalimar Baugh, and Nishat Baugh, all of them the legacy of the art-loving aesthetic of the Mughals. Love still infuses the air in these heavenly retreats. A short trip to the famous Hazratbal Shrine, and then a darshan at the ancient Shankaracharya Temple would round off your tour for the day, culminating in a fine dinner.
Day 6: Srinagar to Gulmarg and back to Srinagar
After breakfast start drive to visit Gulmarg, the valley of flowers about 60 kilometers away. Explore the famous attractions and night stay at Srinagar.
Day 7: Srinagar to Pahalgam
After breakfast start drive Srinagar to Pahalgam, visit the famous Chandanwari, about 16 kilometers away from Pahalgam, night stay at Pahalgam.
Day 8: Pahalgam to Srinagar/Jammu
After breakfast leave for Srinagar or Jammu for your onwards journey.
