Sankat Mochan Temple
Sankat Mochan Temple is one of the famous attractions of Shimla, this holy religious place in a peaceful environment in the lap of nature. This place is surrounded by mountain and trees; and situated on the Kalka Shimla national highway 22. Its distance is 5 kilometers from Shimla; it is the second famous tourist spot after the Jakhu Temple. If you are going with your family then there are swings here for children to play etc. The magnificent view of the temple attracts the mind and soul of the people; the temple has a statue of Lord Rama Family, Shiva, and Hanuman ji. Here shri Ganesha Temple, which is made in the style of South India, is very beautiful. Baba Neeb Karori Ji Maharaj had established this temple, on Tuesday and Sunday there is also langer (Bhandara).
